CM Rawat launches program to offer universal secondary and tertiary health coverage in Uttarakhand

Building upon the center’s Ayushmaan Bharat scheme, Uttarakhand chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat launched the ‘Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojana,’ becoming the first state to offer universal secondary and tertiary health coverage for all households in the state for medical treatment up to $7,141 per year.
