At 648 MW, world's largest solar power plant instituted in Tamil Nadu

India now boasts the world’s largest solar power plant with the completion of a new facility in Tamil Nadu. The new solar plant has a capacity of 648 MW, spread over t10 square kilometers (almost 4 square miles).
