Tracking China’s Rail Construction around the World

This interactive visualizes the value of construction contracts that Chinese companies signed with other countries from 2013 to 2019. Only countries that signed rail construction contracts are shown. The data includes only contracts valued at $100 million or more. Countries can be sorted based on region or income level. The value of rail contracts can also be compared against the value of construction contracts in the rest of the transportation sector, or against the value of all non-rail construction contracts.
